  Abstract

This research investigated the effects of dyeing silk fabric with natural dye extracted from Cassia Fistula ripe pods. The study explored two mordanting processes (pre-mordanting and post-mordanting) under various conditions. The optimum conditions were investigated and recorded for dyeing, color values, color strengths, and fastness properties of the silk fabric. Optimal results were achieved with dyeing at 90
