Abstract

In the modern world, databases are essential tools for managing critical information for businesses and organizations. However, they are also vulnerable to security threats because they deal with sensitive information. In particular, the in-memory data on servers that use databases can be a prime target for attackers aiming to gather information. In this study, we manipulate queries to induce the data that the DBMS loads into memory, and then extract the internal data through memory analysis. We highlight in-memory data security vulnerabilities and present potential threats to system administrators and security professionals.
