  Abstract

The most important characteristic of a nanofilament fabric is that it has a significantly higher surface area than conventional fabrics. Such nanofilament fabrics exhibit new physical properties that are unknown in conventional fibers, and it is anticipated that future demand of nanofilament fibers with improved fiber functionality could significantly increase . In this study, in order to analyze the size effect of the fiber, the optical properties of 800 nm and 600 nm filament fabrics were compared. The results showed that the 600 nm fabric had significantly more luster and less transparency as compared to the 800 nm fiber.
