  Abstract

In recent years, due to the continuous change of global climate, extreme cold waves are more frequent and intense, electric heating fabric for its clean and environmental protection, high heating efficiency and adjustable temperature has been widely concerned. In this paper, the heating temperature, thermal uniformity and power of silver-plated yarn heating fabric (SPYHF) with different circuit design and line spacing were studied. The waterborne polyurethane film doped with nano ceramic powder was prepared to prevent the silver-plated yarn (SPY) from being vulcanized and improve the washing resistance of heating fabric. When the ambient temperature was 20 °C, the heating temperature and thermal uniformity at 5 V of heating fabric with nano ceramic powder/waterborne polyurethane film were 64.466 °C and 13.574 %. The film effectively reduced the power consumption of heating fabric at low temperature. The experimental results provided some help for the preparation of electric heating fabric.
