Submission and Publication

Submission of Manuscripts

The editors welcome regular articles, communications, and notes. Articles should be comprehensive reports of significant results or conclusions. Communications should be preliminary reports of unusual urgency, significance and interest. Manuscripts for publication may be submitted via the TSE on-line submission system (www.fiber.or.kr/publish/TSE).

Preparation of Manuscripts

The length of regular articles is recommended to be less than 20 pages in A4 paper. Main text of manuscript must be written either in English or in Korean. Manuscript must be prepared on A4 paper, one side only, with adequate margins. The entire manuscript (including abstract, references, tables, and figure legends) should be double-spaced. All pages should be numbered consecutively. References, tables, figure captions, schemes, and figures should be placed in that order, at the end of paper. Sequences of tables, charts, and schemes should be numbered with Arabic numerals. Original drawings and photographs should be attached to the end of one copy. The name of author to whom inquiries about the paper may be addressed should be marked with a superscript cross. An abstract should be provided for all articles. The abstract should explain briefly the reason for the work, the significant results, and conclusions. The experimental should provide a clear, unambiguous description of materials, methods, and equipment in sufficient details to permit repetition of the work elsewhere. The size of all letters in the figures should be large enough even when reduced to fit the figures to the Journal page.

References should be numbered in the sequence it is cited in the text in brackets and listed at the end of the paper in the format of Textile Science and Engineering (see below).
