Abstract

As issues with storing data on centralized servers continue to emerge, interest in decentralized storage systems is growing. For instance, a method utilizing SoulBound Token for personal information storage has been proposed; however, suitable solutions for cases involving token loss or regeneration remain insufficient. The existing "guardian" concept designates authorized public institutions as guardians to verify identity, but this approach conflicts with the decentralized nature of blockchain. Additionally, it poses a burden for startups attempting to implement guardian systems due to the need to coordinate with public institutions. This paper addresses these issues by proposing a "Customer-Centric Guardian" system, where customers of a startup act as guardians for one another, thereby reducing reliance on public institutions while minimizing the risk of hacking. Through this approach, startups can enhance the security of their systems using SBT and implement decentralized data storage and management systems in a secure manner.
