Abstract

The Open Charge Point Protocol (OCPP) has become a standard for communication between EV chargers and management systems. However, its complexity and variety of message types can lead to security vulnerabilities. This study proposes a fuzzing-based test system to identify such issues. The system includes a Sender that generates OCPP-compliant JSON messages via WebSocket, and a Receiver that collects and analyzes responses. The results enhance the security of OCPP 2.0.1 and can be extended to next-generation protocols such as ISO 15118.
